Coconut poori is a snack of Sourashtra people.A instant poori, salty snack which you can make this at evening. It is made of rice flour and coconut.Usually eaten with dosai/ idli podi.I have added recipe of  Dosai podi. You can go through that.
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins
Total Time: 25 mins
Servings: 3

Ingredients:
Rice flour-1 cup
Coconut-1/2 shell
Salt-2 tsp
Cooking oil-For deep frying.

Procedure:
1.First take the coconut, cut it into pieces and grind it in a mixie by adding little amount of water.
2.Take a bowl, add 1 cup of rice flour, 2 tsp of salt to it and add the grounded coconut to it.
3.Now add little water to this, knead it and make a dough like chapathi dough. This dough should be very soft.If your dough is very hard the pooris may come out hard.So the dough should be very very soft.once the dough is ready start making small balls of it.
4.Take a pan, heat oil in the pan for deep frying.By the time the oil gets heaten up,you can keep the pooris ready.Take a polytene cover or ziplock cover, take one ball and press it with your four fingers by applying oil to it.The other method is you can take the Idli cloth, take one ball and start pressing it with your fingers.
You don't need to use the roller.Once the oil heatens up reduce the flame to medium and then drop the pooris in it.once one side of the poori starts turning to light golden in colour then flip it to the other side.4.Drain the excess oil from the poori by draining them in a paper towel.Serve hot with dosai podi and Tea.
