Navadhanya Ladoo

Navadhanya Ladoo is a special Ladoo, different and unique ladoo.It is a very healthy Ladoo made of green gram,horse gram,black gram.To make it more flavourful peanuts are added.I got to know this recipe from a cookery show.I tried this Ladoo and it came out very well.Here is the full recipe of Navadhanya Ladoo.

Ingredients : 
Green gram- 1/4 cup (25 gms)
Black urad dal-1/4 cup (25 gms)
Horse gram-1/4 cup (25 gms)
Peanut-1/4 cup (25 gms)
Sesame seeds-2 table spoon
Jaggery powder-1/2 cup + 3 table spoon (around 60 gms)
Ghee-1/4 cup ( Add more if required)
Cashew nuts for garnishing-6 nos

Instructions : 
1.Take a pan.Heat on medium-low flame.Add 1/4 cup  (25 gms) green gram.Saute for 3-4 mins.

2.Saute green gram till it changes its colour to red.Nice aroma will come while changing its colour.Once roasted transfer to plate.

3.Take the same pan.Add 1/4 cup (25 gms) black urad dal.Saute for 4-5 mins.After roasting for 5 mins,it will crackle.You can hear the crackling sound.It can be checked by breaking dal in parts and if it is red it is roasted.This also gives a very good aroma.After roasting transfer to plate.

4.Add 1/4 cup (25 gms) Horse gram.It will take more time to roast as compared to other gram.

5.Once roasted it will change its colour.After roasting transfer to plate.

6.Take 1/4 cup peanut.Roast for 2-3 mins.Transfer to plate and remove the skin.

7.Add 2 table spoon sesame seeds.It will quickly get roasted.Transfer to plate and let it cool down completely.

8.Grind all the ingredients and lastly add peanut.
9.Add 1/2 cup  + 3 table spoon jaggery powder.Grind together.
10.Transfer to a mixing bowl and warm 1/4 cup ghee.Add to this in little quantity and keep adding ghee till it holds a shape.
11.Apply ghee/oil on your hands.Take a small portion, press around your palm and make a round shape.
12.With this quantity 15 ladoos can be made.Garnish with cashew nut on top of it.Serve healthy Ladoo.
