Mirpakaya Kodi Vepudu is a Andhra Dish.As we all know Andhra is famous for its spiciness this dish too is spicy.The name itself tells that the dish is made from Chicken,it is marinated with very little spice and dry masala is made with the whole spice.Then marinated chicken pieces is cooked with roasted onions, and curry leaves and dry masala is added to it.I saw this dish from a cookery show done by the participants.Here is the full recipe of Kodi Vepudu.

Ingredients :
Marination:
Chicken with Bones-500 gms
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Red Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste-1 tsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Lemon juice-1 tsp
Dry Masala:
Coriander seeds-2 tsp
Sesame seeds-1/2 tsp
Peppercorn-3/4 tsp or 12-13 no
Red Chillies- 7-8 no
Cinnamon-1 inch
Cloves-3
Cardamom-2
Star anise-1
Dessicated coconut/Grated coconut/thinly sliced coconut-2 tsp
For Main part:
Onion(chopped)-1 cup
Red Chillies- 3-4 no
Curry leaves- Handfull
Salt-to taste
Cashew nuts-6-7 no

Instructions :
1.Take a bowl.Add 500 gms Chicken with bones.Clean Chicken with water thrice and lastly with turmeric and rock salt.
Once it is washed add 1/2 tsp Turmeric,1/2 tsp Chilli powder,1 tsp ginger garlic paste,1/2 tsp salt,1/2-1 tsp lemon juice.Marinate it nicely and let it rest for 20-30 mins.
2.For Dry Masala,Take a pan.Heat in low flame and add 2 tsp coriander seeds,1/2 tsp Sesame seeds,3/4 tsp pepper.Saute them for a minute.
3.Then add 7-8 red chillies,Saute them.After that add 1 inch cinnamon,3 cloves,2 cardamom and 1 cloves.Saute till a nice aroma comes.
4.Lastly add 2 tsp grated coconut or thinly sliced coconut.Saute till the moisture goes away.Once all these ingredient cools down grind to fine powder and keep aside.
5.Take a pan.Heat with 3-4 tsp of oil.Add 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds.Let it crackle.Then add 1 cup of chopped onions.Saute till it changes its colour to light red.
6.Add Handfull of curry leaves and 3-4 broken red chillies.
7.Add the marinated chicken to the pan and saute on high flame for 2 mins.
8.Add the ground dry masala and mix it.Give a good mix till all the chicken gets blended with this masala.
9.Add 1/2-1 tsp salt as salt is already added in marination.
10.Turn the flame to medium-low.Cover it with lid and cook for 10 mins.Inbetween open the lid and check once if the chicken has become dry then sprinkle some water or else let it cook.
11.After 10 mins remove the lid and cook the chicken till it becomes dry.Keep stirring till it becomes dry.Switch off the flame and garnish with roasted cashew nuts and serve with white rice as side dish.
