Mango Pulissery is a dish from Kerala.As most of the Kerala dishes are made of coconut this gravy is too made of coconut.It is served with Rice.This gravy is little sour and sweet.Any Person who likes sour taste will definitely love this gravy.The sourness comes from raw mango.If you don't find tomatoes in the kitchen u can replace the main gravy with this dish.The side dish for this gravy should be spicier like Mushroom masala.I have added in my blog.You can check that out.

Ingredients:
1 Raw Mango or Mango
1/2 cup coconut
3 spoon curd
1/4 spoon mustard seeds
1 spoon cumin seeds
3 green chillies
3 red chillies
1/4 spoon Turmeric
1/2 spoon sugar
Step by Step Procedure:-
1.Take a medium size Raw Mango or you can use normal Mango.But Raw mango gives a delicious taste.Peel the skin and cut it into pieces.Boil this Raw Mango pieces in 1 cup of water.Add 1/4 spoon of Turmeric and 3 slit green chillies.Add required amount of salt to it.This mango pieces gets boiled in 5 mins.You keep ready cocount paste.
2.Grind 1/2 cup of coconut with 1 spoon of cumin seeds.Make sure the paste is not watery.Add this ground paste to this boiled pan and keep stirring.

4.After that add 1/2 spoon of sugar to the vessel.It will enhance the taste.Once it gets boiled switch off the flame.
5.Take a small pan.Heat it.Add 2 spoon of oil,1/4 tea spoon of mustard seed and 3 red chillies and few curry leaves.Add it to the pan.Serve Hot with white rice.
